A cold front moved across the south China coast early yesterday morning. Under the influence of the associated northeast monsoon, it became significantly cooler yesterday in Hong Kong. Temperatures over the territory in the afternoon were generally 7 to 9 degrees lower than those of the day before yesterday. The monsoon will continue to affect the coastal areas of Guangdong in the next couple of days.Weather forecast for Hong Kong
Mainly cloudy. One or two light rain patches at first. It will be cool in the morning with a minimum temperature of about 17 degrees. The maximum temperature will be around 20 degrees during the day. Moderate easterly winds, fresh over offshore waters at first.Outlook: Mainly fine in the latter part of the week.
